Kenya Morans are keen to replicate the form that saw them narrowly beat Madagascar 15-12 at the Rugby Africa Men’s 7’s tournament in Mauritius when they line up against 11 other teams at this year’s Safari Sevens which kicks off on October 9 at the Nyayo National Stadium.
They have been drawn in Pool C that has Zimbabwe, Gel Squad 7s and Wonder 7’s. It will be interesting to see what changes the technical bench will make in the squad.
Convincingly Beaten
In Mauritius, Morans were convincingly beaten 26-0 by Madagascar at the Pool stage before turning up the burners to beat a South Africa Development team 15-0 in the semis to book a date with Madagascar in the final.
A near flawless play saw Moran prevail over the Makkis.
