Kenya and South Africa will play in next season’s World Rugby Sevens Challenger Series after reaching the final of the Rugby Africa Women’s seven-a-side tournament in Accra, Ghana on Sunday.
They will be joined by either Madagascar or Uganda who meet in the bronze medal play off. Three top teams from this tournament qualify for the Challenger Series.
Kenya reached the final by beating Ghana 4-0 in the quarter finals and neighbors Uganda 19-0 in the semis. South Africa, the top seeds who are yet to concede a point easily beat Senegal 50-0 in the quarter final and Madagascar 42-0 in the semi final.
